Our Story
Born and raised in Glasgow
Tantrum Doughnuts was established in 2015 from humble beginnings, popping up and selling out at local markets and festivals across Glasgow. Owners Iain and Annika saw a gap in the market where they could use their pastry and hospitality skill set after years in the industry. Our goal is to provide a deliciously different and handmade offering in the pastry market whilst using fresh and local ingredients. Thanks to the unwavering support of our fellow Glaswegians we now have three locations across the city and are able to serve our flavourful creations in the City Centre, Southside and West End.
WHAT SETS US APART
We’ve always aimed to take care with every aspect of our business, not just the edible parts! From using sustainably sourced packaging to our work with local charities, we strive for our impact within the community and wider world to be as considerate as possible. Our focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients helps us to support our local producers and by donating any doughnuts left over at the end of the day to “The Homeless Project Scotland” we try to limit waste whilst supporting those in need.
Living wage employer
Tantrum Doughnuts is proud to be a committed Real Living Wage employer. We pay wages to reflect our dedication to fairness and creating a better society. By choosing to eat our doughnuts and drink our coffee, you’re supporting a business model that values its employees. We believe in the sweet taste of success for all, one doughnut at a time.
